Training the next generation is one of the most important tasks a Christian parent is called to. The sooner we begin training our children to not only know what they believe but why they believe, the sooner our children will have a strong, evidentially grounded faith when God seems distant or they face intellectual or emotional challenges. The challenges will come. The question is not "if" but "when." Natasha Crain describes the parental options quite succinctly:
